The sale starts on Monday, October 6th at 3am EDT and runs through Wednesday, October 8th at 2:59am EDT.
This is the 5th year that Amazon is holding a second Prime Day sales event at the start of the Q4 holiday shopping season. In past years this sale hasn’t come close to the great deals we see on Prime Day in the summer, but there are always some good deals, and this time Amazon says they will be dropping new deals 3 times a day, at 3am, 11am, and 4pm EDT.

Here is a list of early deals that are already live:
Kindle Unlimited:
- 3 free months of Kindle Unlimited for Prime members, valid through 10/8. It renews at $11.99 per month after the free months.
Amazon Music Unlimited:
- 4 free months of Amazon Music Unlimited for Prime members who haven’t tried it yet. Non-Prime members get 3 free months.
Audible:
- 4 months of Audible Standard for $0.99 per month for Prime members, valid through 10/7. Note that this is the Standard plan, not Premium Plus, so you only keep access to the audiobooks while you are subscribed. It renews at $8.99 per month after 4 months.
Grubhub:
- Prime members can get $20 off a $30+ Grubhub order with code: DEALS20
- Valid for pickup or delivery through 10/5. Activate the offer via that link first. Grubhub+ is free with Prime.
Prime Video:
- Get a free $5 Prime Video credit here. The page should confirm that the credit was applied and you will get an email when it’s available to use.

Amazon Autos:
- Prime members can get a $1,500 Amazon gift card when buying or leasing an eligible new car through Amazon Autos from 9/15 through 10/7. The gift card is emailed after pickup from a participating dealership.
Prime for Young Adults:
- Ages 18-24 and students can get 6 months of Prime for free, then $7.49 per month or $69 per year, and will earn 5% cash back on beauty, apparel, PCs, electronics, and personal care during the sale.

Prime Big Deal Days starts 10/6 at 3am EDT, aside from being online at 3am to grab limited time offers, here are some tips for snagging the deals you want.
1. You will need to be an Amazon Prime member. You can sign up now for a free 30 day trial of Prime here to participate in these deals, or sign up for Prime for Young Adults if you are 18-24. You can also get discounted Prime if you have an EBT card.
2. Follow deals posted on the Prime Big Deal Days Homepage, where you can narrow deals by the categories that interest you.
3. Many of the special Prime Big Deal Days deals will be featured as limited time deals. The best deals will be claimed very quickly so if you see an item you want add it to your cart the moment it goes live. Once added to your cart you will have 15 minutes to decide whether you want to purchase it or not. If you missed the opportunity to claim something you wanted, join the wait list. You will have to monitor your cart. If the item expires in someone else’s cart, it will then appear in yours and you will have 15 minutes to complete your purchase.
