If you could compare the shipping weight to back then you would have your answer. Much lighter. Weber was sold years sgo. Not the same tank it used to be.

I just returned mine to Costco after using for 2 months. My Weber previous lasted 10 years. I should have kept it and fixed it up. The new ones are cheaply made.

Wonder what the go-to brand is going to be now (if any) since Webbers mainline grills are apprently not what they used to be.

That sucks. Glad i bought mine in 2015, still going strong outside since with almost daily use. Just had to replace the burner tubes, but under warranty so they were free
